Mohammed attends graduation ceremonies

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended ceremonies marking the graduation of medical and pharmacology students from Dubai Women's College, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai this evening.
Following a rendition of the national anthem, Chairman of Dubai Women's College, Hajj Saeed Ahmed Lootah, kicked of the celebrations by delivering excerpts from poems in praise of Sheikh Mohammed, his leadership and his support for science and education in the country.
Graduates from the faculty of medicine then stood before Sheikh Mohammed and took the Hippocratic Oath.
Sheikh Mohammed distributed awards to distinguished graduates and congratulated the 115 students from both faculties on their achievements, wishing them success in their upcoming careers and studies. He went on to call on all graduates to work harder and look forward to the future with confidence.
Towards the end of the ceremony Sheikh Mohammed stood for photos with the college president and faculty members, alongside the graduates.
The graduation ceremonies were also attended by Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Health Dr. Hanif Hassan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Abdul Rahman Mohammed Nassir Al Owais, Minister of State Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, dignitaries, educational leaders and heads of government institutions, in addition to the graduates' families.
