Mohammed attends DEC meeting

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended a meeting of the Dubai Executive Council (DEC) at the Emirates Towers today.

The meeting was chaired by Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with the presence of Dubai Deputy Ruler and Council’s First Deputy Chairman Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed reviewed the meeting’s agenda and took part in the discussion, which underlined the importance of implementing Dubai Strategy 2010, especially in the health and education sectors.

Sheikh Mohammed directed the council to give priority to the human factor by providing him with basic health and education services and his family with decent life.

He went on to ask the council, department heads and other government bodies to focus on field work and day-to-day follow up, each in his own area so that tangible results are yielded by all citizens.

Sheikh Mohammed commended the council’s achievements and wished its members more progress and success.

Sheikh Hamdan highly valued Sheikh Mohammed’s attendance of the meeting and his participation in the discussion and thanked him for his directions, considering the visit as a support to the council and an incentive to the members to double their efforts to best serve their country and citizens.

Sheikh Hamdan also promised that he and the council will continue to work hard so as to achieve and implement Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of providing the best services to both nationals and expatriates in the country.
