Cabinet discusses Health and Social Affairs strategies

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has urged ministers to boost union in all their programmes and plans through focusing on local human resources development, being the cornerstone of building knowledge driven community, which is the core of federal government strategy under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

For the second day in row, at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort today, the Cabinet discussed strategies of the ministries of Health and Social Affairs, following the briefings from Minister of Health Dr. Hanif Hassan and Social Affairs Minister Mariam Al Roumi.

Chaired by Sheikh Mohammed, the cabinet discussed the medical services and healthcare achievements in the UAE. It also examined the developmental programmes of the social care system.
