Mohammed tours education exhibition

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured an exhibition on learning techniques, organised by the Ministry of Education, on the sidelines of the Gulf Education Forum in Dubai today.

Accompanied by Minister of Education Humaid Mohammed Obeid Al Qattami, Sheikh Mohammed toured the various halls at the Dubai International Airport Exhibition Centre, where he was updated on the latest technologies and educational solutions.

During a stop at the Ministry of Education section, Sheikh Mohammed was briefed by staff there about online educational programmes offered by the ministry as part of its new learning strategy.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the ministry's initiatives and education strategy, which seek to create a student-centered interactive learning environment.

Towards the end of the tour Al Qattami spoke to Sheikh Mohammed about the benefits and practical applications of technology on display at the exhibition, noting that more than 6,000 teachers from around the country attended the event.
