Mohammed Bin Rashid holds meeting in UAQ

Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum ha chaired a meeting at the premises of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development in Umm Al-Qaiwain.
Present at the meeting were His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain, H.H Sheikh Rashid Bin Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al-Qaiwain, H.H Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, H.H Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, cabinet members and heads of local Umm Al-Qaiwain departments.
Topics discussed at the meeting included educational, economic, health, housing and infrastructure balanced development in the UAE to provide dignified life quality for nationals.
In remarks at the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid stressed his determination to achieve the goals set by of UAE Vision 2021 to turn the country into one of the most advanced nations in the world.
"Achieving this national goal expresses the cabinet's pledge to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the dear people of the UAE." "We are determined to deliver on this pledge," Sheikh Mohammed said.
"The reign of the Sheikh Zayed and the founding fathers was really an era characterized by (accomplishments made in) shorter times as well as giving the Arab nation a high status." "Today under the leadership of my brother Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, we are accomplishing our mission, powered by our strong will and integrity, to shorten the time required to deliver and to gain a high status among the world's advanced and most stable nations." Although we are capable of achieving this goal, we are well aware that, due to the developments, this requires careful planning, good management as well as bridging any gaps that we might find out, however small. But, thank God, shortcomings are very few and are not insolvable." "Therefore, I ask all ministries and local departments to work as active as a beehive ... where roles are assigned very scrupulously to the members of the community who also serve the queen bee." Sheikh Mohammed compared the UAE to a queen bee in the sense that all members of the community should serve the nation, protect all its achievements, whether local or federal. This, he explained, required organization, integration and dedication.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed on the need to "be clear on all matters related to the country and citizens because the goals to be achieved by the golden jubilee of the UAE federation in 2021 is a great and sublime one that requires the full mobilization of efforts and capabilities." "Integration in work, projects and planning is the bottom line here. All of us seek to achieve integration and the Federation efficiently takes care of the sovereign issues and what we need here is furthering integration in all other domains, namely strategic planning." "We have the vision of H.H Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed for "a national work plan for the UAE which the government is carrying out through the "UAE Vision 2021" "Fully efficient performance requires the highest degrees of coordination among local and federal department and of integration of projects and plans," Sheikh Mohammed added.
He went on to say "we developed a work plan for the government and laid down sound foundations. Ministers and other officials have the responsibility of implementing its provisions the right way, in a collaborative manner that is away from self-centeredness so that national goals would be reached and citizens could reap all the fruits of what we sow." Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed inaugurated the center of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development in Umm Al-Qaiwain.
Sheikh Mohammed toured the AED 62 million new center which was built on a total area of 27000 square meters. The theatre of the center accommodates an audience of 700 spectators.
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, UAE Supreme Council member and ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain, H.H Sheikh Rashid Bin Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al-Qaiwain, H.H Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, H.H Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, HE Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, cabinet members and heads of local Umm Al-Qaiwain departments.
He later watched a documentary highlighting the achievements by the UAE since the inception of the federation in 1971.
A lunch banquet was held by H.H Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al-Mualla in honor of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid. Present also were Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.
