Health Minister visits Khelifa Specialized Hospital Construction Site in RAK

Dr. Hanif Hassan, Minister of Health, visited Khelifa Specialized Hospital construction site in Ras Al Khaimah that has been build through the grant of His Highness Sheikh Khelifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and instructed to complete the construction plan and delivery on July 2011 as planned.
He lauded efforts of the Ministry of Public Works in following up and supervising the buildings and facilities of the Ministry of Health, pointing out the cooperation between the two ministries in accomplishing many projects would enhance the ministry's strategy and achieve its goals and objectives to provide exquisite health services.
After meeting with engineers Dr. Hanif stated that ministry is ready to provide all required support and human resources to accomplish the construction works. He also instructed the officials of the ministry to follow up and ensure its completion on the set date.
He was accompanied by Nasser Khelifa Al Bodoor, Director of Minister Office and Chairman of the Projects Committee at the Ministry, Dr. Yasser Al Nuaimi, Director of Ras Al Khaimah Medical District, Ahmed Al Malas, Acting Director of Primary Healthcare Department and Masood Al Mazrooei, Director of Government Communication Department.
Sheikh Khelifa Specialized Hospital was designed according to the highest international standards, with a capacity of 248 beds over an area of 650 million square meters and is located near the emirates road towards Al Toabeen road. It consists of six floors, service buildings, two helicopter strips. The hospital has six storey in addition to the departments of cardiology, cancer, emergency wards and is equipped with the latest machines.
