Minister of Health visits Shoka and Kadra Centres in RAK

As part of the follow up field visits to the hospitals and healthcare centres of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali, UAE Minister of Health visited the construction site of Shoka Health Centre in Ras Al Khaimah to serve the population of those areas.
Al Ansari Exchange has donated AED7million to the centre, which is expected to be completed within one year.
The minister was accompanied by Nasser Khalifa Al Budoor, Director of Minister's Office and Chairman of Projects Committee at the ministry and Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of Primary Health Care Department.
Hanif commended the efforts of the private sector and philanthropists, lauding the role of the Ministry of Public Works for construction the health sector projects.
He visited Shoka and Kadra health centres, where he inspected Shoka construction work. He also urged medical zone directors and officials to pay more field visits to the health centres to assess needs of the remote areas to provide medical services to public in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Health.
