Mohammed bin Rashid attends meeting of Financial and Economic Committee

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai today attended 13th meeting of the Financial and EconomicCommittee held here at Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed followed up the work of the committee formed by the Cabinet and reviewed committee's agenda, which includes debate on the general budget of the Union for fiscal year 2010 and the financial position for the implementation of the current budget until May 31st, Additional appropriations required by overall budget of the Union for the fiscal year 2010, Statement of estimated income for the fiscal year 2010 and expected collections, Proposals of the Ministry of Finance on the Federal government revenues for the years 2010 to 2014.

Present were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Industry and Chairman of the Committee, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister for Economy, Obeid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and Younis Haji, Director General of the Ministry of Finance.
