Interior Ministry discusses methodology for energy saving
27 July 2010
The Energy Conservation Committee at the Interior Ministry held a meeting today at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi to raise awareness of the need to rationalise power consumption in the Interior Ministry and its policing institutions across the country.
The meeting was presided over by Lieutenant Hareb Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Committee and was attended by heads of the departments of support services, directors of security sections and various departments of the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting came within the framework of periodic awareness creation programmes and educational outreach on the application of the methodology for energy-saving. A model was successfully applied recently at the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police.
Al- Khaili stressed the need for the cooperation of everyone to spread the culture of conservation among employees at the various sections and departments in the Ministry.
