Launching ADAA

The first government-wide online performance management system in the Arab world, ADAA, was launched in October 2008 to serve as a key communication tool between the Prime Minister’s Office and the federal government entities on all topics related to the implementation of the UAE Government Strategy. It will be implemented in Arabic and primarily aims to centrally collect, collate, analyze and disseminate performance information.

The ADAA reflects the commitment of the federal government to raise efficiency and professionalism through introducing new criteria to evaluate and advance government performance. The system will ensure the effective implementation of global best practices, including those from the private sector, on the federal government level. The automated web-based performance management system is going through three phases administered by the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs through the Prime Minister's Office(PMO).
