H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai launched many awards to enhance the performance of media, business and government performance, the following are some examples
Arab journalism Award: In its first year of operations, the Dubai Press Club launched the first ever Arabic awards for journalistic excellence. Inspired by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Arab Journalism Award was instituted to recognize and encourage journalistic distinction in Arabic media.
Dubai International Holy Quran Award: Dubai International Award for the Holy Qur'an radiation my faith and civilization sailed from the land of Dubai, United Arab Emirates to engulf the whole world lights and blessings and the prize was launched in 1997 a decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai may God protect him and sponsors and formed the Organizing Committee of the Award From a group of the finest sons of Dubai distinguished in this field.
Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award: It was first launched in 2005 to recognize, showcase and celebrate the success of organizations that have contributed and continue to contribute to the economic development of the UAE. The Award provides firms with a remarkable chance to engage themselves in organizational learning through a process of self-analysis and benefit from each other’s experience.
Dubai Government Excellence Award: Pursuant to what precedes, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai has ordered the establishment of Dubai Government Excellence Program to develop the Government sector and improve its performance through moral incentives, motivational working environment, constructive cooperation and positive competition
