Noor Dubai Initiative, On September 3, 2008,His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, launched Noor Dubai: It aims to deliver preventative eye care to over one million people in developing countries. Noor Dubai is an international charitable initiative for the prevention and treatment of blindness and low vision.
This is an ambitious initiative which aims to deliver preventive eye care to over 1 million people as part of its drive to realize its vision of a world free from curable forms of blindness. Noor Dubai demonstrate Dubai’s continued commitment to being a responsible global citizen and to helping our less fortunate brothers and sisters all over the world.
